Special and Unique!

When you look around and study people you see that no-one

is the same. 

We are created for a purpose, nobody else can do what God

wants us to do. Our precious Holy Spirit distributes His gifts as He wills.

We see in 1 Corinthians 12 v 11

" But one and the same Spirit works all these things, 

distributing to each one individually as He wills."

One of our favourite verses is Jeremiah 29 v 11

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord,

thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Wow are we blessed!

Our Daddy loves us!!

Never compare yourself to someone else, He hasn't called you

to be them! He has called you to be who He made you to be.

In Philippians 1 v 6

" being confident of this very thing, that He who

has begun a good work in you will complete it until the 

day of Jesus Christ."

So hang on, put your hand in His and you will see, little by little,

day by day you CAN go forward in Him.

1 Peter 5 v 7

"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

at 10 weeks!

Our Lord is the most amazingly wonderful God!!!!!!

How beautifully formed!

At 10 weeks:

Now called Fetus - "Little one"

All the organs, muscles and nerves are in place

and beginning to function.

AND what I just love - the fingerprints are already evident in the skin!

Our God is an awesome God

He reigns from Heaven above!!

Praise the Lord!!!!!

Life Happens - But

My greatest joy in life is the Lord. Many distractions and challenges come from all directions but to never be alone and to have the Lord walking with

you and in you all the time is the most wonderful thing possible!

In the second part of John 10 v 10 we see

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

How Awesome is that!!!!

In Jeremiah 29 v 11 we see

"'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, 

says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give 

you a future and a hope.'"

This is the Jesus I have come to know over many years - He has

ALWAYS been faithful to me. Through all the questions, trials,

hardships and joys - He has never left me! He is ever comforting,

guiding and loving me through His Holy Spirit. 

In Ephesians 3 v 17-19 we see

"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you,

being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to

comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length

 and depth and height -

to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you

may be filled with all the fullness of God."

It is just the best thing!!!!!

There is just nothing in this world that can compare - NOTHING!

What Beeeeeeeeeautiful rain we have had - Thank you Lord!!!

Psalm 68 v 9a

"You, O God, sent a plentiful rain,"

In years gone by,we have had a lot of drought, so when we

have rain it is always a special treat!

Everything looks so sparkly and lush. Ah what a delight!

Acts 14 v 17

""Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.""

Wow! His kindness is amazing!!!

Talking of rain - let's talk about 'reign'

Rev 11 v 15

"Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in

heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have 

become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall 

reign forever and ever!""

Hallo Everyone! What a beautiful new day! Welcome to "Open Door".

I would like to share what the Lord is doing in our lives. I hereby give and

dedicate this blog to my First Love - Jesus.

Well my good news today is 'New Life'. 

Hannah, our eldest son's wife is 2 months pregnant!

Wow, how precious is that!!!! Thank you Lord!!!

To think, someone totally new is in Hannah, totally unique, no one on the

face of the earth is the same.

In Psalm 139 v 13-16 we see:

"For You have formed my inward parts;

You have covered me in my mother's womb.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.

My frame was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.

And in Your book they all were written,

The days fashioned for me,

When as yet there were none of them."

Wow!!! Awesome!!!

It reminds me of our new life in Christ. When we hand over the reigns of

our lives to God and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour we become a

new creation!

In 2 Corinthians 5 v 17 we see:

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;

old things have passed away;

behold, all things have become new."

Thank You Lord!!!!

So if circumstances, thoughts or people's words tell us anything else,

we can remain confident of who we are in Christ because -

In 2 Corinthians 5 v 21 we see:

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Hallelujah! Thank you Lord!!!
