Grace

Thank you so much to everyone who has waited for me to write a post again, and have faithfully checked in to see if there was anything new. I appreciate you, and pray you may be so blessed for loving our Jesus.

Where can we begin to talk about this most wonderful gift called "Grace"???

We can only touch the surface.

Can we fathom how much He loves us to have sent Jesus and to allow Him to go through what He went through for us????

WOW!!!!!

Stop and make time in your day, all through the day to love Him, to thank Him, to picture yourself hugging Him. Yes He is ALL powerful God, but He is also our Abba, Our Daddy.

It has made such a remarkable difference to my life to do this. This is building relationship with Him and this is what it is all about.

John 6 v 29
"Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.""

2 Tim 1 v 9
"who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began."

How AWESOME is that??? Different to what we picture works hey???

As we worship, love, praise, pursue and enjoy our Lord all throughout our day, His purposes and works will flow out of our life from Him in us.

So we don't have to try and generate them ourselves. Out of our lives will flow the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

How glorious is that????

2 Tim 2 v 9
"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."

HALLELUJAH!!!!

Free Gift!

You don't have to pay for it!!!

How many times in life do we hear - "Buy this and you get a free gift"?

There is good news!

One thing in life you don't have to buy or earn.

Our Blessed Salvation through Jesus!!!

Ephesians 2 v 8
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,"

HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Romans 5 v 18
"Therefore, as through one man's offence judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life."

Romans 6 v 14
"For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace."

Thank you Lord for SUCH a precious gift!!!!!

We just have to accept and receive. His sacrifice was more than enough!!!!

Romans 6 v 23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Wow! How Awesome is that????!

Turbulence

The Lord gave me such a lovely picture this morning.

Looking out of my window while having my quiet time, I watched the tree across the road blowing in the wind.

When the wind blows in our lives the dead leaves are removed.

It is good, that when the wind blows we are supple in spirit, mind and body. When one is supple it is much easier to bend and not break, when the push comes.

Romans 12 v 2
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

To be supple it takes stretching in that area.

And I think one of most important things when the wind blows, is to have our roots deep in Him.

Colossians 2 v 6,7
"As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving."

Psalm 1 v 3
"He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."

WOW!!!!!!

When the Holy Spirit (Also pictured as wind - but a good Wind), moves us in any direction let us move immediately, bending to His instruction.

1 Corinthians 2 v 4
"And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power,"

why not stop and be cheerful???

Instead of murmuring -

Why don't you try complementing???

Jesus gave up EVERYTHING for us!!!!
We only have this one lifetime.
Make a difference today - just because you can.
Start in your family.

Philippians 4 v 13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Victory

HALLELUJAH!!!

1 Corinthians 2 v 12
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God."

ISN'T THAT WONDERFUL!!!!

Psalm 32 v 8

THANK YOU DADDY!!!

John 10 v 10b
""...I have come that they may have life, and that they have it more abundantly.""

HOW KIND HE IS!!!!

Jeremiah 33 v 3
"'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'"

WOW!!! HOW EXCITING IS THAT?????

Psalm 138 v 8
"The Lord will perfect (complete) that which concerns me;"

1 Peter 5 v 7
"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

HE IS OUR FAITHFUL AND TRUE (Rev 19 v 11)

Remember

While having my quiet time with the Lord this morning, I was thanking Him for the rain. I was writing the 'thank you' note in my diary to Him. Then I realized, I have not thanked Him in my diary lately for the rain. When we had drought and we would have even a sprinkling of rain, I was quick to write and get so excited about it, then when there is plenty, I am almost blasé.

Is that the same in all areas of our lives. Do we remain thankful?

THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL OUR BLESSINGS!

Saturday 23 November 2013

1 Peter 4 v 7-11
"But the end of all things is a hand; therefore be serious and watchful in our prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."

I encourage you today to open your tap and let His love that is in you, flow out to all around you. People are wearing masks and are hurting, needing the touch from the Lord. He wants to work through you. There is no one in the world like you, God made you totally unique and the way you show His love to others, cannot be done by anyone else.

This is such a short message today but His will.

GO

Go and share His love.

Delightful!!!

Everyday He brings us 'delightful' gifts of His love for us!
Please join me today in bringing our Lord pleasure and noticing.

Please may we look up from concentrating on worries and maybe grumblings and see that He has placed a feast of joys all around us and all through our day.

Even in a prison cell, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God at 'midnight'. They found the pleasure of His presence. Oh that is the best gift of all.

Psalm 16 v 11
"...In Your presence is fullness of joy;..."

The joy that His mercies are new every morning.

Romans 15:13
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Oh the blessed comfort of our Holy Spirit!

John 14 v 16,17
""And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever,""
""even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.""

Hallelujah! He is in us!

Lamentations 3 v 22-24
"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul,, "Therefore I hope in Him!""

Wealth!

2 Corinthians 9 v 8
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

Sounds good???
True???
YES!!!

I have learned a lot this week from our Lord through one of our sisters in Christ in America.

His word is true in that as you sow you reap but He is not the "Lotto God" as she put it. He doesn't work that way.

In Deuteronomy 28 v 12
"...to bless all the work of your hand..."

In the parable of the talents, the servant who didn't grow what he was given was classed as "wicked and lazy"!!!!

Matthew 25 v 23

""His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'""

Accusation!!!

The Lord showed me this morning:

Do I extend a hand of accusation?

OR

Do I extend a hand of grace?

Now I am generally a happy, gentle type of person, so the Lord was dealing with my heart.

I need to be like my Father.

Romans 2 v 4
"Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"

If my Father can extend mercy and grace, so can I.

To accuse even in my heart is to operate in Satan's manner-
It is not acceptable!

Rev 12 v 9,10 shows us Satan is the accuser of our brethren

1 Peter 4 v 8
"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins.""

Darkness

Sometimes one feels absolute darkness, other times it is as if it feels like a nothingness - silence.

He showed me about this, this last weekend.

Some people may want to panic and rush around saying words that definitely don't help the situation. Others may want to sit down, depressed.

BUT

at time like these remember that He never leaves you nor forsakes you. So that is a truth to hang on to. The situation says otherwise but the Truth confirms His utmost love for you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."

Then gently put one foot in front of the other and go about your day.
Praise Him. This is the best way to remove darkness from your life.

In Judges 20:18 God sent Judah first into battle

"And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Who of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first."

Judah (Praise) was sent forth first and the battle was one!!

As I go about my daily life with praise on my lips, it penetrates every aspect of my life. It allows God to move the obstacles out of the way. It even has a huge affect on my dreams - they are peaceful and happy.

PRAISE THE LORD!!

In Isaiah 42:16 He encourages us:

" I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."

HALLELUJAH!!

NEVER doubt it!!!!!
I mean NEVER!!!

GOD LOVES YOU!!!!

There are myriads of Christians who are concentrating on where they are missing it, instead of basking in His love. This brings a world of insecurity and depression, and a feeling of having to perform.

His whole Kingdom is centred and operated by love because God IS love. That is why our lives are attacked in this area.

God showed me today how His power operates through love too.
When we know who we are in Christ then we are secure! Out of this will flow His power to do all that He shows us to do.

I heard a teaching the other day. Jesus was so secure and victorious when He was tempted in the wilderness because He experienced His Father's love.

Matthew 3 v 17
"..."This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.""

At this point He had done no miracles yet. He was just loved because He was His son. It wasn't about works.

We are His bride - He loves us. He gazes at us in adoration!
You are deeply, deeply loved. Rest in that.

He is Beautiful!

All day everyday, He sends love letters to us!

THANK YOU LORD!

Everywhere we look we see the beauty He puts there for us to enjoy!

THANK YOU LORD!

Thank you Father that you loved us so much that you sent Jesus.

Thank you Jesus that you did the Father's will.

Thank you Holy Spirit for comforting and guiding us.

This is my love letter to you Lord.

You are my First Love, my Faithful and True,
my Beloved.

I love you Lord!

Deep Love!!!

Are you loving with a deep love or has it grown cold?

When the disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of His coming, and of the end of the age, one of the things He answered was:

Matthew 24 v 12
"'And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.""

We cannot take love lightly for our God is love and He works in love.

John 13 v 34, 35
""A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.""

He supplies seed to the sower, so the more love you sow the more you will receive. Are you feeling unloved? - sow more love (genuine) and watch as it flows back to you. If at first you don't see it, remember when you sow seeds in the ground it takes a while to germinate.

1 John 2 v 10
"He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him."

Lesson on the Loo!

I feel strongly from the Lord to write about this.

While on the loo today, the Lord told me an analogy. We go to the loo everyday to expel excrement. It is vital that we do this as the toxins need to be removed out of our system. If this is not done regularly then they are reabsorbed into our systems causing damage. If left for a short time it can cause headaches and discomfort. If left for a long time then it can cause serious problems.

He wants us to know that it is the same with issues that have not been dealt with in our lives. It could be unconfessed sin or disobedience.

Jesus has paid the price for sin, once and for all, for all mankind.
So as Christians we have accepted He has done this for us and are no longer sinners. But when we slip and sin or choose to be disobedient, then we need to repent. If we don't and we leave it for a short time it causes small issues in our lives and if left for a long time, it can really cause damage.

Repentance is not something to run away from like it is something bad - no - it is something so wonderful, designed by our loving Father to keep our whole life free from toxic repercussions.

1 John 1 v 9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Praise the Lord!!!!

Repentance is not beating ourselves over the head and falling into deep depression - no - when the Lord pin points things in our lives, let's say we are sorry (obviously mean it) and sort it out as soon as we can. Then walk on in the liberation and joy that comes with repentance. There may be consequences from our sin/disobedience but after repentance He gives us the grace to deal with that too - Hallelujah!

Philippians 4 v 13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Monday 7 October 2013

Have you ever been through a time when it seems your prayers are not being heard??? There are piles of questions and no answers in your mind???

People have said they hear nothing. Well the Lord allowed me to go through a time like that - now I understand.

There are things that stood out for me in this revelation.

There are 'facts' BUT there is 'Truth'!

The facts may be - 'I don't feel that the Lord is there.'
BUT
The Truth says -
"...For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you.""
                                                                     Hebrews 13 v 5

The facts may be - 'He doesn't answer me.'
BUT
The Truth says -
"'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'"
                                                             Jeremiah 33 v 3

The facts may be - 'I can't do this any more.'
BUT
The Truth says -
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
                                    Philippians 4 v 13

The Lord showed me to press in no matter what is 'seems' like.

"I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Philippians 3 v 14

To believe what He says not what the facts say.

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?   Numbers 23 v 19

And such an important lesson I learned that out ways anything else - TO PRAISE HIM.

"Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against..., who had come against Judah; and they were defeated."
                                 2 Chronicles 20 v 23

It works EVERY TIME!
